Transitions Lenses

I wear prescription eyeglasses, and a week ago I received a new pair. The design on the legs is modern and stylish, and the color really complements my skin tone. What I like best about them isn't either of those things, though. This is my fourth pair of eyeglasses, but it's the first time that I've purchased Transitions Lenses. I absolutely LOVE them!
What are they?
Transitions is a brand name, the actual lenses are called Photochromic lenses. I purchased Original Transitions, which are clear when I'm inside, but darken when exposed to sunlight. If it's a cloudy day, they turn gray. When it's really bright, they turn black.
Why Did I Get Them?
I needed a way to protect my eyes from the sun, so I looked at my options. Taking off my glasses and putting on sunglasses doesn't work for obvious reasons. Clip-ons are great, but what if I forget them at home? Transitions lenses are a lot more convenient.  I have the vision I want, plus full protection from the sun's harmful rays.

There are two other types of Transitions lenses, Transitions XTRActive and Transitions SOLFX. To find out which type suits you best, visit: www.transitions.com
